The day starts by looking at the world of data driven business and automation, and the role of the human in the technological world we’re moving into. The day concludes with arguably the most important role of our jobs – how we inspire, motivate and drive our organisations, the importance of emotional intelligence and leadership skills.

The role of the human in the data driven world we’re moving into.
Dave Coplin was Microsoft’s Chief Envisioning Officer and is author of two books on the need to rethink the usage of technology in the modern world.  He is an established thought leader on the role of technology in our personal and professional lives. He has worked across a wide range of industries and organisations, providing strategic advice and guidance around the intersection of a modern society and technology both inside and outside of the world of work

10.30 TED-Style presentations: Creating client value through innovation
We will hear from EY’s Global Law Lead, Dr Cornelius Grossmann on their recent acquisition of Riverview Law.
KPMG’s Partner and Head of Digital Disruption Shamus Rea will present on how KPMG are innovating and the trends they see in the market, and DLA Piper’s Innovation Director Adam Hembury will share how DLA are driving client value through innovation and what that means for their firm.
Each presenter will talk for 10 minutes about innovation and creating client value in their respective organisations. This will be followed by a Panel session and Q&A from the audience
